November Pink Parcel 2018.

Hey there! So time for Novembers pink parcel, if you dont know pink parcel is a monthly subscription service that you can time to arrive at the same time that you have your period. You can choose the tampon or pad that you like most, and then you get 2 boxes & one bag of the said pads or tampons, along with a small box of goodies! which always includes a tea bag & chocolate.

Ive gotten pink parcel for over a year, but sadly i think this will be my last pink parcel. Im going to switch to a different beauty box i think, the pads are extremely helpful but i think in the end ill just start buying them again, because the boxes of goodies have been just not up to it, along with late boxes and having my boxes spoiled by the pink parcel adverts on social media.

With all that said, lets show you the pink parcel for November!

So first up we have the tea bag for this month, Dr stuarts skin purify tea £2.35 (for 15 we got 1). Im not a hot drinks person, so i dont tend to have these really.

The chocolate is one we have had in the boxes before, the monezumas milk chocolate crunchy peppermint mini bar £21.99 (for 26 we get one). This chocolate is really good! but, we have had it before which is a bit sad though, but it is yummy.

Next up we have the skin republic x olivia buckland prep + glow sheet mask £5.49, this is classed as a full sized item, but its another sheet mask. We get a sheet mask from pink parcel pretty much every box, and i have to be honest i am quite bored of them now! this sheet mask, honestly seems like most sheet masks.

Next up we have the Loella fab brow brooke angled eye brows brush £4.99, we dont get brushes very much so yay for this! its a rather thick brush however, i dont really know what to use it for.

We have a technic eyeliner, the RRP is £1.99, i was rather disappointed to see technic in here, its not the kind of thing id expect to see, this is a basic black khol eyeliner, i cant find a link for it for some reason! haven’t tried it yet so i dont know what its like, but these eye liners tend to be not amazing.

Skin & Co roma truffle therapy whipped cleansing cream £30.00 for 150ml for 30ml, this is a really really rich cleansing cream, i squeezed some out and tried it on the back of my hand and it is like body butter! interested to try this out, but it may be a tad too rich for me.

Balance me Travel size congested skin serum £10.00 (7ml) is our last item, this had actually leaked a little bit and my whole box smelt like this serum! obviously because its a serum, i dont really have much to say about it, apart from the fact that it smells very herby.

So there you have it! my last pink parcel, i will be going for a different beauty box instead, so look out for that next month!

Pink Parcel August 2018.

Hey! So this months pink parcel arrived a few days ago, and normally my aim is to get my pink parcel posts up as soon as i possibly can but i had to wait for an email from them first. I got a bit annoyed with this months, because a lot of the contents of the box was plastered all over my facebook in the adverts since the beginning of the month, ruining the surprise! according to pink parcel only the hero products in the box should of been shown, i still personally feel there shouldnt be anything from that months on social media but what can you do.

For those that didnt see my first post on pink parcel, pink parcel is a monthly subscription service for people who have periods! you can tailor it to be sent at any time in the month, and it contains pads or tampons of your choice, as well as a small box of goodies for you as well. Its very good value and one of the biggest things it helps with for me is that i dont run out anymore! has someone that cant leave the house much, it helps a lot.

Anyway, the theme for this month is holiday essentials, and its also worth over £50 which is pretty impressive! you may notice that the normal for now bag isnt there, i did ask about that in the email too and they had just ran out so we have two for night time this month, thats fine, happens!

So, whats inside?

So, in every pink parcel you always get a tea bag and some sort of sweet treat.

So for the tea bag this time we actually got a coffee bag? alright! anyway its lyons No3 coffee in a bag £2.60 for 125g (we get a bag). i am not a tea or coffee drinker so this will go to the coffee addict that is my dad, however i do admittedly find this a bit odd considering caffeine is meant to make cramps that much worse.

The sweet treat for this month is the Candy kittens eton mess gourmet sweets £1 for a treat bag (we got a treat bag). I have heard so much about these! of course the fact that they are cat shaped sells me quite a bit, and seeing has ive been vegetarian for 13 years i havent really been able to have sweets like these but these are vegetarian, woo!

The first item we got is a spacemasks eye masks £15 for 5 (we got one), now ive seen these doing the rounds lately and they look rather interesting! basically they are one use eye masks that heat up when you take them out of there little packets because of the iron inside them hitting oxygen. I like this idea, and galaxy things is always a hit in my book! im having a lot of sleep related problems right now, so i am going to have a rest with this one day, and likely nod off!

Next up, is oryza dewy glow balm £11.95, so i gotta be honest, i was interested when i first saw this “ooh glow balm!” but im actually disappointed to be honest. It is just a vasline like balm, its full of “good” oils according to the label, but honestly it just seems to be one of those balms.

Next up we have the laritzy dew pot in glory £20.00, this is a multi-purpose cream highlighter. now sadly you could get 6 shades in this and of course i get the gold one! so i wont using this, it looks creamy however!

Next up is the English laundry no7 for her purse spray £16.00, we have had little spray perfumes before but i havent been keen. however i really like this one! the description says there are notes of sparkling pear, jasmine, melon and apricot, i dont really know if i smell any of them or not (im good at this) but i do think it smells really fresh and clean, im very picky with perfumes but i like this one!

Sebamed clear face mattifying cream £5.69 is our last product, we got a sample size of this moisturiser. I havent used this yet, its a oily controlling moisturiser that helps reduce blackheads and spots, ive tried it on my hand and it does feel very light.

So all in all i do like this box! im sad a few of the products were spoiled for me, but i like the perfume, the eye mask, the sweets! the highlighter just isnt the right colour for me, a balm is a balm and the moisturiser is meh but i am so keen on the perfume it weighs it evenly!

Do you get pink parcel? what did you think?

Mask Time subscription box – face masks galore!

Hey! So this is a rather exciting post as this post is going up on my birthday! i am most likely wearing one of these masks as you read this actually, as i  am a massive mask fan, i use one at least once a week generally twice a week. I am combo/oily skinned so i often go for clay/charcoal masks. So you can imagine how excited i was when i was very kindly sent the july 2018 box from mask time!

Now mask time is a face mask subscription box, regardless of the box you pick you get a selection of korean face masks (normally sheet masks) and a skincare item or two sometimes. You can go for the glow setter monthly box that costs £24.99 for 11 masks, or you can go for the glow starter box which is £9.95 for 4 face masks, which basically means you get one a week, perfect! Every box is sent out on the 2nd of every month and with free shipping, always nice!

On top of this, you can also buy previous months boxes if you so wish and you can also buy the masks you try individually so if you really fall in love with a mask you can re-purchase it!

So, i got the july 2018 mask time glow starter box.

A really cute touch in the boxes is that inside is a little card explaining the box, and on the card is a little korean sentence so you can try and learn a korean word, and you get to learn a new word every box which is really cute.

As you can see, the box comes really nicely packaged and wrapped and inside is the lovely sheet masks! and as you can see the masks are all targeted towards dealing with spots, oily skin and pores, so up my street.

The skincare “extra” this month is rather crazy, a full sized urban dollkiss carbonated bubble charcoal clay mask (RRP £14.99). Yep, the extra is worth more than the box itself! i have wanted to try one of these bubble masks for ages, and the day before this arrived i actually almost bought one so this was really good timing. The mask arrives with a spatula that you use to apply an even layer to your face, avoiding the eyes & lips and then you wait around 5 minutes for the mask to bubble and foam up. And it really does! it bubbles and foams on your face, and you can actually feel it fizzing on your face, you then wash it off like you would any other mask. Though i do suggest you crush the bubbles first because that was my favourite bit! i really love the fun factor of this mask, and it is very cleansing and left my skin feeling very clean, it might be too much in the winter but after the heat wave we had it was honestly just what my skin needed.

Now, onto the sheet masks.

First up we have the TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL egg cream mask pore tightening RRP £4.80 – I was equal parts scared and excited to see this! i know that using egg extract to help with pores is big in Korea but still i find it a little odd. Basically the premise of these sheet mask is its a very soft microfiber sheet infused with albumen, which is egg white extract and vinegar to target and help with oily skin and enlarged pores. I havent tried this one yet, its that feeling of i want too but, eggs? i will try this and report back at some point!

Next is the ROYAL SKIN real mud mask RRP £3.00 and is made from 100% boryeong mud, this basically sounds like one of those masks that does pretty much everything! moisturises, soothes, brightens and purifies as well as being anti-oxidant, anti-aging and anti- irritation so it really does seem like it can do a little bit of everything.

The ESFOLIO volcanic ash essence mask  RRP £3.00, Not only does this mask have cute packaging, this mask is packed of volcanic ash that helps drag out dirt and other gunk in your skin so the other good things in the mask like ginseng can do even more good. I tried this mask yesterday and it was lovely! the mask itself is very wet, it feels super cooling on the skin and my skin felt very hydrated the whole day.

PONYBROWN PLUS Skin hue clearing black mask RRP £3.50, now you know the cute packaging i mentioned? well this mask has it even more! i mean how cute! Now this mask is another one that can do basically everything,  though it is even tested by the korea semyang university so we know it works and is ok to use on sensitive skins.

So there you have it! all in all honestly i really like this subscription box, i love the fact that even in the cheaper option you have enough to do 1 a week and you can buy previous boxes if you missed one you really wanted to try. This is a lovely way to treat yourself once a month or as a gift to any other face mask fan you know.
