Neutrogena Hydro Boost Skincare Review.

Hey there! so in a boots haul a few weeks ago, i picked up a few products from the Neutrogena hydro boost skincare range, i picked up the hydro boost gelee milk cleanser £7.99, hydro boost supercharged booster £14.99 hydro boost water gel moisturiser £12.99 when wanting/needing some new skincare the other day!

So, lets do this in routine order.

Starting with the hydro boost gelee milk cleanser £7.99

This was the one product in this trio that was more a want purchase than a need! i have plenty of cleansers, but im a sucker and wanted to try this as it sounded really gentle and mild and perfect for the morning cleanse! so this is a very light milk gelee cleanser, its texture is a gel but its got a white tint to it, it says on the bottle that it doesnt need water but i subscribe to the caroline hirons way of doing things so i of course remove it with a flannel! And it works very well this way, its not drying in the slightest, its gentle but my skin still feels clean, ive used it morning and night and its just really good but quick, it reminds me a bit of the avene extra gentle cleansing milk, but in a pump bottle! and a little bit lighter i think.

Next up is the hydro boost supercharged booster £14.99, i was really looking for a basic serum, one that would still feel like i was using a nice serum but be really hydrating and just that extra layer so this sounded perfect. Your first pump or two will be clear, but once you hit the little beads there will be lots of little white bits in the gel, you cant feel them at all however. This serum is completely weightless, as soon as its on your skin it sinks in and you cant feel it, but your skin does feel more hydrated than it would without it. It works really well with the moisturiser too, not feeling too heavy at all! i really like the effect it has on my skin, never feeling oily or heavy but just adding that layer of hydration that would normally be missing.

The final product i bought in the range was the hydro boost water gel moisturiser £12.99, this was actually what i needed most having ran out of most of my moisturisers, the ones i had left i was finding just way too heavy and creating a greasy canvas, this sounded perfect. Ive been using it day and night and its just so much lighter, yet still hydrating and a little goes a very long way.

So there you have it! as you can see, i really enjoyed all the products, simple effective and hydrating, exactly what i wanted!

Boots Haul January 2019.

Hey there! so surprisingly its been a while since ive done a boots haul, and theres a few reasons for that. Having my benefits lowered does mean im being more careful than i was, though i was being careful then too. Ive also gotten very into cleaning and especially buying cleaning products, quite a chunk of my “play around” money going there! and ive just been waiting for a moment were i could save the most to buy what i needed/wanted and it finally arrived. With half off a lot of skincare, lots of other deals and an offer i had for triple points when you spend over £20, the order was made!

So lets start with skincare shall we?

I have slacked big time on my skincare of late, i think because i haven’t had a few things and such i just haven’t wanted to bother so i didn’t! though i wouldn’t suggest doing that, i just found myself slipping that way.

So first off, i was looking for a new moisturiser, ideally something i could use morning or night but mainly morning with a lighter texture but still hydrating, ding ding ding! Neutrogena hydro boost water gel moisturiser £12.99 ticked all of those boxes so i picked it up. I knew i also wanted a morning serum, a really simple hydrating serum and the same range had exactly what i wanted the Neutrogena hydroboost supercharged booster£14.99. I didn’t really need a new cleanser, but i spotted an interesting one from the same range so i picked up the Neutrogena hydroboost gelee milk cleanser £7.99. Theres something satisfying about using 3 products from the same range! and as a heads up, i bought all of these at half price.

A few bits that dont really have a category as such, I picked up more Boots smooth care hair removal cream £3.49 because i needed it, the Barry m base coat, top coat and nail hardener £2.99 being my favourite top coat and i needed more! And finally, the Boots cracked heel balm £4.89 because my feet are forever a disaster, and im trying to try out a few different things to do a post about it eventually!

Make up wise, only two products go me! getting a moment to play with makeup is unheard of these days so i dont buy half as much as i used too, but i needed new mascara! i was going to get another tube of my favourite soap & glory but it wasn’t in stock and i had been curious about the Maybelline snapscara £7.99 for a bit so i picked that up. And then i always use a waterproof mascara as like a top coat, normally maybelline the rocket but couldn’t find the waterproof version online, so instead i got the Maybelline colossal mascara waterproof £6.99.

Finally, hair! my hair has been showing damage, its been dryer and breaking a lot so ive started listening too it and trying to help it as much as i can. Hair masks as if they are going out of style is the first port of call and i adore garnier for these, and then i spotted these Garnier ultimate blends hair food papaya 3 in 1 damaged hair mask treatment 300ml £6.99. First things first this pot is massive! i loved the sound of papaya and hair food, so in the basket that went. I also spotted these new conditioners loreal have brought out, Loreal elvive full restore rapid reviver damaged hair power conditioner £5.50 these are meant to be stronger than your normal conditioner but dont need to be left on, sounds good to me! so i thought i would give that a go too. I knew one thing i wanted to get and start being better about was a heat protector so i got the John Frieda detox & repair care & protect spray £5.99, so many heat protectors ive used in the past are annoying and sticky so something designed to be caring too sounded good! Finally, i really wanted to try something from the new soap & glory hair care range, and i needed a new styling serum/oil so i got the Soap & glory split happens conditioning styling oil £7.50 to give it a go, has i always finish my hair with a serum/oil.

So there we go! made up for lost time i think? what have you picked up lately? let me know!

The Soap Story Review.

Hey there! So a few weeks ago i went to the range with my mum, i hadn’t actually been there before so was quite excited to have a look around. You can imagine that the excitement got even better when i spotted a soap story stand! Mum said that a soap i got in my christmas stocking was actually from there, which i hadnt known but being able to have a look with my own two eyes was great fun! i had to control myself, knowing that the last thing i needed was a tonne more soap products when i already have so many so i picked carefully. I ended up getting the Mandarin hand cleansing gel 50ml £3.00 and the Galaxy jelly soap 100g £5.00, i was having a look at all the products for quite a while but these are what ended up catching my eye the most.

I always like to carry a anti-bac hand gel with me, but im not a big fan of just the standard ones really! i like finding ones that are nicely scented, but that can be pretty difficult in the uk, so when i spotted a whole range of them i was very happy! even more so when i spotted the Mandarin hand cleansing gel 50ml  £3.00 as i love orange scents but had never found a hand gel in a orange scent before. I was so excited i used it in the car on the way home! And the scent is lovely, its mandarin but its not super strong and its also not that super sweet and sickly fake orange scent. Though of course alcohol is the main thing in here, i cant smell it and unlike some gels it doesn’t feel like its disappearing as soon as it makes contact with my skin. They say its moisturising, and while i wouldn’t go that far it doesn’t dry my skin out quite to the same degree that your standard gel would. My biggest bug bare with this gel personally is that for maybe 20 seconds after using your hands are a bit sticky, so you do have to watch it a little, but its not too bad and after those 20 seconds its gone completely and the only thing telling you that you used it is a very light scent still there. I really like it, I find that the nice scent makes me want to use it more too always a good thing!

The other thing i bought from the soap story is the Galaxy jelly soap 100g £5.00. I was looking for a while, but then this soap caught my eye, how could i not! its dark and sparkly, and smells super good. Ive been trying to figure out how to explain the scent of this for a while now, and i honestly still cant place it! i just know that its sweet, and it takes me back to my childhood but i dont know why! of course, there is a novelty factor in that you have a chunk of jelly soap that wobbles and feels exactly like any other jelly. The galaxy one is this beautiful midnight blue with holographic glitter inside, before i photographed it i was messing around and taking it whole out of its tub and wobbling it, hence the mark in it! note to self, dont do that. You can use it in a few different ways, ive been grabbing a little bit from the tub and putting it on the sponge i use but i dont think thats the easiest way to use it. I think that if you can, using it whole like a bar of soap may work better because i found it pretty difficult to break a piece off! though of course my wet hands didn’t help. You get a nice lather once it work it up, and the colour turns more to the purple side which is awesome. The first time i used it i thought that it had dried my skin out a little bit, but when ive used it since i haven’t had any issues so i dont actually think it did!
All in all i really liked both of these products that i tried from the soap story, the only minors were very small! and i think i will pick some other things next time im at the range.

The Body Shop facial mask duo review.

Hey there! So its been a while since ive done a review, and im sorry about that its what happens when things just get a bit busy! im really hoping to keep on top of things more now, cross your fingers.

Anyway, i wanted to talk about this mask duo i got at Christmas, because i have completely fallen in love with both of them! I got the body shop our finest facial mask duo £32.00 and was super pleased, having wanted to try the updated body shop face masks for a while.

In the duo you get the Himalayan charcoal purifying glow mask & the British rose fresh plumping mask. These type of masks are for sure my most used, a classic mud/charcoal one and a gel texture one. The face masks retail for £17.00 each so you dont save a massive amount buying them together but if you are gonna buy both anyway you might as well and it does also make a brilliant gift like how i got mine as its in a lovely box.

So lets start with the Himalayan charcoal purifying glow mask

Years ago, i tried the original glam glow mask and though it isnt worth the price tag (in my opinion) at all, it was still very good. Well, this mask gives it a run for its money for sure in my opinion. It is a classic mud mask, with the charcoal showing through in its colour, it also has the trait that glam glow is known for, it has bits of mud and such in it, so it isnt smooth in texture. Its easy to apply and you dont need a tonne to cover your face, and then you let it do its thing! it begins drying pretty fast, much faster than i expected it too, but while its drying you can really see it working! it also feels lovely and cooling on the skin, i do find though that the downside to this is it can be a bugger to get off! it is a real bitch to get off, its one that is best removed in the shower honestly, and you need a flannel for sure because it comes off in flakes and generally is a nightmare, but personally for me its worth it i really like it.

The British rose fresh plumping mask is another one right my ally, especially over the past year or so ive gotten very into using gel texture hydrating masks. And honestly one of my favourite things to do is to use a clay/charcoal mask then use a hydrating gel mask afterwards. And this is a really nice one, its not overpoweringly rose scented which is important because if it was too strong it would be annoying to use! but its not, its very gentle and cooling and hydrating. it also comes off very easily, which is always nice!

So yeah, all in all i really like this set of face masks, ill be sad when they run out and hope to pick up some more soon!

Favourite Products of 2018 – Skincare.

Hey there! so i really wanted to do a post on my favourite products from 2018, i was just going to do makeup but then i thought i had loved skincare so much i didn’t really wanna do that,so ive split it off into two! in a few days you will get my post about my favourite makeup from this year, but this one is all about my favourite skincare. Its gonna be a long post, so lets get too it!

1st cleanse – The body shop scumptuous camomile cleansing butter.

This was a toss up for me because i have gone between 3 the whole year, but i think this cleansing butter wins for me. Its not greasy and it removes easily but it works so well, removing makeup or not!,I adore this cleansing balm, and i dont think that will change any time soon!

2nd cleanse/morning cleanse – Soap & glory peaches & clean deep cleansing milk.

This was extremely easy for me, i had a few years ago used and loved it but had moved on to different things. Im so glad i went back to it this year as i do not plan to have it leave my life again! its not drying, but it has a bit of a zing to it, its perfect for me.

Scrub – Loreal paris smooth sugar glow grape face and lip scrub. (Not shown).

I am so sad that i dont currently have this but im waiting to see it on offer! these came out this year, and ive tried the kiwi and grapefruit one and the grapefruit one is the best by far. I always thought that sugar scrubs would be too much for my face but actually they work really well and i loved how smooth this made my skin feel.

Face mask – Garnier pure active gel matcha detox green tea face mask.

This really has been the year of the face mask for me, i really like using them! i found this garnier face mask early on in the year and im really glad i did. Its clay based, but very cooling and not drying at all, its a really nice refreshing clay mask that makes your skin feel smooth and clean.

Acid – Revolution lactic acid & hyaluronic acid serum.

This was a tough choice to be honest, because i didn’t use much acid this year! ive only just started using acid again in its traditional toner form over the past few weeks. But i then remembered that i used this serum til it is basically empty and it is acid! i really like how gentle this is, my skin this has gotten slightly drier and more sensitive this year (im growing up, eek!) and even though this is helping at resurfacing, its also hydrating and that helps a lot.

hydrating spray – B. hydrated hyaluronic acid spritz.

This was the year that i got very into hydrating sprays and this was the spray that started it! over the summer and the awful heatwave, i would cleanse, spray a lot of this then use a light gel and call it a day and this was enough hydration! i really enjoy this, its not needed of course, but its a really nice extra level of hydration.

Serum – Hyaluronic acid.

So im kinda cheating here because i haven’t got a brand for this has ive used a few over the year, but my no1 serum “thing” for sure has been hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid has found its mainstream fame this year, and theres good reason why. I found it a really nice, easy serum adding light hydration that really felt like it worked, i need to get some more, soon!

Oil – Revolution skin nourishing CBD oil.

Revolution brought out there own skincare range this year, and of course i was all over it! CBD oil hit the headlines a lot this year but i haven’t really seen it much in skincare, though i dont know why! this is really lovely, super hydrating and gentle, a staple for my night time skincare.

Day cream – loreal paris hydra genius aloe moisturiser.

I have really struggled finding a day cream that i like this year much at all, but the one i enjoyed the most was for sure the loreal pure genius, gel textures are for sure the way to go and i think i may pick up some more of this soon!

Night cream – Soap & glory speed plump overnight moisture mousse.

Again just like the peaches & clean this is something ive loved and used in the past but had wondered off to other things. I am so glad i got back to it! its a lovely, quite rich but not heavy moose.

So there you have it! my favourite skincare of 2018, what was some of yours? let me know!

My Autumn/Winter skincare changes.

Hey there! so, it wasnt until this year really that i have had to rethink my skincare for the seasons, until then i was basically fine treating my combo skin as i always did regardless of season. But, as i get older (inwardly shivers) i have noticed that during the summer my skin is oilier and in the winter its dare i say it slightly on the dry side.

So with that in mind theres some changes ive been making now that the weather is getting colder!

Of course, we always start skincare with cleansing and my go to first cleanse has been the No7 nourishing cleanser £13.00 but if im being honest i was using this way before the weather got cold! i am going through this pot like theres no tomorrow, i really like it i feel like its one of those staple cleansers that everyone needs in there cupboard! there has been some nights when i showered later in the day etc when ive just done a shock horror single cleanse! with this, and theres no greasy residue or anything like that.

my second cleanse tends to be the cleanser that changes the most with the season, in the summer i tend to go for something that is more either clay based or gel like, but now with the weather getting colder soap & glory peaches and clean cream cleanser £8.00 has been my go to for mornings and second cleanses. Its a cream cleanser so it has that hydrating factor to it but because it contains fruit acids it still has that little bit of a kick to it that my skin tends to need.

Serums and oils tend to move around and change a lot for me on a day to day basis anyway! however in the winter i tend to lean towards oil in the evening a lot more, my favourite has been for a while now has been the revolution skin nourishing CBD oil £10.00. Its just a really good basic nourishing oil that adds that extra level of hydration that my skins really needed lately.

My nighttime cream has been fine, but my daytime one wasn’t cutting it so ive been using the neals yard deliciously ella rose, lime and cucumber moisturiser £25.00. i got this a while ago in a bundle that i bought, and i used it on and off as a nighttime moisturiser especially during the summer, but when i found i needed something more i grabbed this and works wonderfully! its just a really nice, basic moisturiser that does exactly what i want, hydrates and protects.

I dont use an eye cream normally due to having stupidly sensitive eyes, but my under eyes over the past few months had felt like they were lacking something and so when i got a little mini of the Anatomicals no old bags allowed £5.50 i thought i would give it a go every now and then and im glad i have. Sometimes my under eyes and just the skin around my eyes have felt dry and in need of something and this has worked really well, its not heavy in the slightest and very quickly i dont even know ive put anything on, things just feel more comfortable!

try and be better about lip balm but i have to be honest that i dont remember to put it on an awful lot even though i need it! But in the winter etc not using it can mean i get sore lips and i dont want that! so i try to remember to put some on, and ive been reaching for O’keeffes lip repair in cooling £4.25 lately. I bought this around my birthday but ive been picking it up lately more than i did back then really, i like the cooling feeling and its just a really good stick lip balm that lasts a long time on the lips!

So there you have it! the skincare ive been reaching for or swapping in now that the weather is getting colder. Do you switch things around in the winter? let me know!

Suu Balm

Hey there! so a few weeks ago i was lucky enough to be sent a tube of suu balm to try. Suu balm is a moisturiser developed by Dr Tey Hong Liang, who runs the itch clinic at the national skin centre in singapore (i know). He made the suu balm after he found that the creams currently on the market none of them soothed an itch effectively.

Suu balm is a moisturising cream designed with menthol which helps cool and ease the itching feeling, meaning people would want to apply the ceramide rich cream more meaning the ceramides could help repair the skins barrier quicker.

Has soon as i heard about suu balm i wanted to give it a go, its designed for people with all kinds of skin issues that causes itching from eczema, psoriasis, sensitive skin, dry skin you name it! ive suffered with dry itchy skin on my body for as long as i can remember, its something that both me and my brother suffer with (thanks dad). A lot of creams tend to upset my skin over actually soothe it and a lot of them i end up washing off.

I wondered how thick this would be considering its called a balm but in fact its no different really to any other cream when you first squeeze some out. It goes on really nicely its not overly heavy or greasy which is a god send because if you have had creams for eczema from the doctors you will know that really itchy uncomfortable feeling can be made so much worse by the thick heavy cream they give! but this wasnt heavy at all.

The menthol starts off very slowly and builds up to become more cooling over time which is nice, i will say this is something that shouldnt go near your face or neck, one its just not meant for that and two the smell of menthol to close to your nose isnt fun for anyone! I first tried it on one of the last hotter days we had of summer and the cooling feeling is really nice, and it does as promised soothe an itch and make you less likely to scratch your skin into shreds!

I suffer with heat rash and just dry skin on my collarbone area and this helped calm that down really quickly, which was lovely because that can be a troublesome area for me a lot.

All in all ive been rather impressed with this, its helped soothe and calm my pissed off skin really nicely! suu balm starts from £13.50, and they also do a kids version which starts at £9.95.

I was sent this product to review, this does not effect my opinion.

Revolution Skincare.

Hey there! so a few weeks ago i showed you the revolution haul i made as soon as there skincare line came out, of course because its skincare i needed to give it a test for a few weeks but now ive given it all a good try i can tell you what i think!

Revolution skincare is following the trend that started with the ordinary, affordable budget serums with ingredients you would normally have to pay way more for. In true form of revolution, they have brought out a range of skincare quite a like to what the ordinary offers, considering the issues with the ordinary of course everyone is hoping that the revolution line is a good replacement.

Pricing & packaging starts them off well, the serums are £6, the oils are £10 and the gel-cream is £8. It is in simple boxes and the actual products are in glass feeling slightly frosted glass unless you go gel-cream thats in a jar.

Personally, i love this kind of skincare i like being able to use what my skin needs at that moment in time, i like the fact that its so affordable too, i wouldnt be able to afford a lot of this otherwise!

So, onto the actual products!

im sorry theres no pictures of the actual product by the way, i forgot to take pictures of that and its raining!

So first up we have the skin blemish and pore refining serum with 10% niacinamide and 1% zinc £6.00. This is meant too help gently tackle blemishes, making them seem calmer and also to ease what is causing the skin to have a fit in the first place!

This is a super light serum, it sinks in very quickly and feels like nothing on the skin. I used this over that time of the month when i had a lot of very big sore hormonal spots, i applied it every morning and every evening and i did find that the spots i had healed much faster than normal and it seemed to help prevent any new ones pop up! Ive also had some pop up which im guessing are stress related, and yet again this serum as really helped heal them quicker than normal, its one of those things i think is always a good idea to have on hand in case your skin has a bit of a fit.

Next up is the Skin nourishing CBD oil £10.00, this is one of two facial oils that they make. I am a big fan of rosehip oil so i was going to pick that up but when i spotted the CBD oil i couldnt resist trying it! So the CBD is meant to be soothing, calming and nourishing and it really is, id say its a very classic facial oil. It feels like a nice layer of comfort basically on your skin, especially nice when your skin feels rather pissed off! ive really liked using this, its a basic facial oil but basic in the nicest sense of the word, a staple for sure for me at least now!

Next up we have the Mild skin exfoliator 5% lactic acid + hyaluronic acid £6.00, this is meant to be a mild skin exfoliator that helps improves the look of skin texture combined with hyaluronic acid to help hydrate and plump up the skin. I really, really like this, so much! i hadnt tried anything lactic acid based before, i like how mild this is but it still feels effective, when it hits any open spot you get a little bit of a sting but obviously that makes sense considering these acids should help eat away at the bacteria in the spots! but with the hyaluronic acid in this serum that helps deliver the lactic acid very so very gentle which is nice.

Lastly we have the plumping & hydrating solution  – 2% hyaluronic acid £6.00, i think everyone and there mother knows what hyaluronic acid is these days, and it helps hydrate and plump the skin. I love hyaluronic acid serums and this one has become a staple for me, its very like and hydrating and so easy to use, no issues with this what so ever! i really like it.

So in total, i adore all of the serums and oil i have tried and i really want to try the others, i am a big fan of these for sure (can you tell?) and i would highly suggest anyone who would like to, to give them a go!

no7 nourishing cleansing balm.

Hey there! So in my boots haul last week one of the things i picked up was the No7 nourishing cleansing balm £13.00, as a lot of products were on 3 for 2, and i was very interested in trying a different cleansing balm! i do love a good cleanser, especially a budget one.

This cleansing balm promises “radiant and healthier looking skin in 1 week”, with No7s tri-vit complex and grapeseed oil. It is what i would call a rather “basic” cleanser, but you know at least its not full of mineral oil!

As you can see, its in a nice big pot and it looks like your normal balm cleanser, waxy but put a little pressure on it and you can scoop some up. The cleanser feels really buttery as soon as you pick some up, it feels silky and really nice to touch, not gritty in the slightest! It smells clean, it does have a smell but its just clean and fresh not really over powering or annoying in anyway for me at least.

It melts super quickly in your hands and it feels really nice on the skin, its got plenty of slip to it and you can easily massage everything off. Makeup wise, it removes everything no problem but a lot of mascara would likely need a different remover, but i tend to do it that myself all the time anyway, i wouldn’t use this on my eyes unless i had too but i feel the same about every balm or oil cleanser. It doesn’t leave any residue when removed with a warm flannel (it comes with a muslin cloth but no thanks).

Honestly this is a pretty short review but i dont have much more to say! this is a really nice, staple balm cleanser that is one of those cleansers i can see myself keeping in my stash at all times. I would highly suggest giving it a go next time theres a sale or offer on!

Boots bonus points offer haul.

Hey there! so a week or so ago boots had a offer on because it was the 21st anniversary of the advantage card, so they were doing 21 points per pound spent! yes please! you had to spend over £60. But lets face it that isnt exactly a hard thing to do! i had a couple of things i needed, but the rest i picked up because i wanted to try them and/or thought they would be good for the blog, so here it all is!

So first up is all the face, body and hair care that i picked up! this is where i spent my bulk, ill be honest.

i picked up two bottles of the zingy mango and papaya shower gel  75p, i am very fond of cheap good smelling shower gel! but so is everyone else that shares my bathroom, so lots of bottles it is.

Nail polish remover £1, because well i needed it.

boots smooth care hair removal cream £3.49, because same reason.

i picked up two skincare products from soap & glory, ive tried both of these before but a while ago now! i picked up the soap & glory peaches and clean deep cleansing milk £8.00 and the soap & glory speed plump overnight miracle moisture mousse £14.00. The cleansing milk was my go to morning cleanse and second cleanse for over a year years ago, and i am so happy to have it back! its a wonderful cleanser, feels lovely on the skin but has that extra zing to it. The mousse has a lovely almost butter like texture to it, and sinks in so well, im glad to have these back!

I grabbed another tube of the garnier skin active matcha detox face mask £5.99, this is such a lovely face mask for when you want a deep clean for your skin. my skin is stressed and hormonal right now and this mask felt wonderful on, its cooling and feels like its doing something, maybe it doesnt but it feels good! and my previous tube was down to the last drops.

Garnier ultimate blends coconut oil treatment mask £4.99, how many of these have i had in blog posts now? i love these masks.

No7 nourishing cleansing balm £13.00, thanks to the hashtag #carolinehironsmademedoit and the skincare freaks facebook group my skincare obsession is right back into swing! i tend to swing between makeup and skincare, skincare it is at the minute, i was doing the 3 for 2 items thing and i spotted that this was one of the options and scooped it straight up. always looking for good budget balm and oil cleansers!

so onto the makeup i bought! the masqd sponge was a free gift when you buy kind of thing, will be interesting to try.

i spent ages looking at various makeup items, always going back to NYX as i so often do! they have this really cool gothic looking collection at the moment but after looking at everything i just knew i had too much like it or i wouldnt use it. I got my heart set on a blusher, and then i spotted this and i was sold, its the NYX ombre blush in codebreaker £9.00, a really bright purpley pink mixed with a purple.

I needed a new black pencil liner so i picked up this one from NYX  the slide on eye pencil £6.50, ive only swatched it but its very creamy!

finally, if you have followed beauty news for a while you would know that boots own brand 17 was discontinued a few months ago. But i found that some of there items were still on the website with a very heavy discount! I was very excited to find that the 17 staytime concealer in extra fair was there, for 90p! so i picked up three of them, obviously.

I also spotted a shadow for £1 in purple, so i couldnt leave that now could i?

Anyway thats everything i picked up! ive been spending a lot lately, i need to rein it back a bit, she says!
